The wedding planner for couples who care how the day looks.
UNSTAGED is a design-first wedding planner for iOS and web. One person designed and built it: a designer and video producer who is planning her own wedding in it. Nearly 5,000 people have started planning in it since February 2026, and since October it also works inside Claude and ChatGPT.

UNSTAGED is now in Claude’s directory.
Not a chatbot inside the app. The couple’s own plan, with their budget, guests, vendors and moodboards, inside the assistant they already talk to.
What it does
Forward a florist’s email and the quote is in the budget. Paste forty names and they are on the guest list. Ask for a brief and it is written from the couple’s own moodboard images.
Who decides
The couple chooses, area by area, what the assistant may read and what it may edit. It adds and updates. It never deletes, never touches a payment and cannot reach the membership.
Why it is different
On 9 October 2026 there were four other wedding planners in the directory. UNSTAGED was the only one that shows the assistant a couple’s moodboards. It works in ChatGPT too.

AI that does something
Most apps added a chatbot. UNSTAGED put the couple’s real plan inside the assistant they already use: forward the florist’s email, and the quote is in the budget.

Design before checklists
Wedding apps are to-do lists with a floral skin. This one starts with moodboards, a palette and a written creative direction, and ends in a Wedding Deck a florist can open.

One person, no funding
Amanda Westergren designed and built the iOS app, the web app and the AI integration herself, with no investors and no team. She is planning her own wedding in it.

The founder

Amanda Westergren has worked as a photographer since 2012 and in film since 2016, with client work for H&M, Zalando, Spotify and NK. She holds a BA in Moving Image Production.
She started building it when she began planning her own wedding and found the plan scattered across apps: fifty tasks in ClickUp that felt like work, and 150 images on Pinterest that her fiancé looked at once and never again. Every screen of the iOS app and the web app is hers.
UNSTAGED is bootstrapped. No investors, no team. She is planning that wedding in it now.
